Counselling is the professional, psychosocial accompaniment of individuals or groups with the aim of realising problem-solving or transformation processes within a comparatively short period of time. It is mainly about experiencing problem situations from different perspectives. Thus, the perspective can be broadened and the client himself learns to finds new creative ways to afront life. The knowledge and skills to follow one’s own path of self-realisation are anchored in every human being. But sometimes it needs a little help to apply these abilities creatively and efectively.
The Counsellor
The Counsellor helps you to connect with your own wisdom and to decide for yourself how to proceed. In a sense, counselling is a loving, psychosocial accompaniment in the process of personal growth. Unlike other forms of psychotherapy, the therapeutic relationship is horizontal. The therapist is aware that he knows no more about the client than the client himselve. Together they can approach and handle the problem. The counsellor provides the necessary support so that the desired growth process can take place.
I use Gestalt techniques such as the Empty Chair to help you change your perspective and discover a world of new possibilities. You are invited to let go of your guilt and rediscover your innocence. In doing so, you can also learn to no longer see yourself as a victim of others, but to take responsibility for your life in a whole new way. You will have the opportunity to be yourself, let go of your worries and grow at your own pace.
